Visualizing the communications styles and ambitions of an entire team is extremely useful in understanding conflict areas, strengths and potential blind spots on a team. Target Teams' assessments and analytical tools provide a structure for understanding style preferences and closely held passions of coworkers, executives and teams:

  • Team Development Workshops – Our Business Partners provide custom 1/2 day or full day workshops to analyze the performance styles and ambitions of an entire team.  They can graphically show assessment results for an entire “Team at a Glance™” making strengths and challenges on a team obvious - while providing action items and coaching assignments for team members.
    • Result: During a Target Teams Business Partner workshop, team members are taught how to predict areas of conflict in order to communicate and work together more effectively with peers, management team, groups they support, customers and other groups and individuals within their organization.

  • Executive Team Offsite – Utilizing Target Teams' assessment tools as an addition during an executive offsite allows the facilitator to analyze the performance styles and ambitions of an Executive Team.  Executive Teams often utilize this analysis to tackle conflict, prepare for new executives joining the team, prepare for merging with another organization or other challenges the organization is currently facing.
    • Result: Using our Performance Style and Ambitions(tm) assessments, our Business Partners will highlight areas of natural collaboration as well as natural conflict.

  • Sales Kickoff Meetings – During these important meetings sales teams can learn “Behavioral Selling” - how to identify the preferred communication styles of their customers.
    • Result: Better understanding of customer needs and more effective communication with prospects invariably leads to increased sales.

  • New! Executive Integration into an existing Executive Team - Before hiring a new Executive, we recommend working with one of our Business Partners to profile the existing as well as the new Executive to understand their Performance Style, Ambitions and cultural preferences as compared to the existing team.
    • Result: An executive team analysis allows the hiring team to "try on" how the executive candidate fits with the existing team - helping to reduce turnover due to a lack of fit with the existing executive team culture.
