Employees and Corporate Teams
How do customers utilize Target Teams’ questionnaires with employees and corporate teams?
- Target Teams’ assessment questionnaires are extremely useful in understanding strengths and challenges with an individual or with a corporate team:
- As compared to a specific role requirements
- As compared to other individuals on the team, or
- As compared to the hiring manager
- As compared to the company’s culture
- Customers regularly incorporate these questionnaires and report during Team Building Workshops, Sales Kickoff Meetings, Executive Offsites and Employee or Management Coaching Sessions.
How do businesses use these tools in the Hiring Process?
- Target Teams’ Certified Business Partners first discover your business goals before jointly creating a plan, which details the most effective method for implementing these solutions in your hiring process.
- Target Teams’ Business Partners might suggest analyzing your existing top performers, or
- “Polling” people who know this job extremely well.
- Sometimes our partners recommend doing both. Again, it all depends on your goals, the # of people in your firm and the # of top performers you can identify.
- You can rest assured that your Target Teams Business Partner will recommend the most efficient and most cost effective way to proceed. We support them as they walk you through each step of the process.
Do many businesses utilize assessment-based solutions with their job candidates, employee teams and executives?
- Recent research published in The Washington Post describes that more than 30% of all organizations are using these kinds of tools for either hiring or for employee or team development?
How long have assessment tools been available for use in business?
- Versions of Target Teams' questionnaires have been available for over 30 years.
How would someone complete an assessment?
- It's easy. Your employee or candidate would be sent an email with a URL, which would provide them with directions for completing the questions. It will take approx. 24 minutes to complete all questions.
How long does it take for the assessment results generated and returned?
- Assessment results are emailed to the appropriate person (HR, Hiring Manager, Employee or any other location) within 3 seconds of the assessment being completed.
Is there a preferred or a more “ideal” report or profile?
- There is no best, worst, or average profile. Each person is an aggregation of many characteristics. Some characteristics matter more in one job role or team than in another.
We will tell you how a person will perform on the job. We can predict which rewards are motivating for them. We can focus an individual or employer on the performance style and personal ambitions better suited to handle specific jobs and careers.
All information we gather and report to you focuses on how these elements fit with the needs of a specific job role or job culture.
What are appropriate uses for these kinds of assessments?
Do these questionnaires measure honesty, intelligence, or other psychological issues?
- We cannot and do not measure any of the items mentioned above.
How easy will it be for my company to begin using the assessment questionnaires with candidates and employees?
- It is a simple process to begin utilizing these tools. All respondents complete their assessments (in about 24 minutes) via the internet.
How does an organization learn what the results mean?
- Job Candidate Results
- Target Teams’ Online Assessment Portal – Advisor™ - is uniquely designed to compare job candidate answers against job requirements. Within seconds Advisor™ delivers an analysis of a “Match” to the Ideal Job Benchmark.
- Advisor™ shows red flags, describes what those flags mean to job performance and generates customized Performance Style and Ambitions™ interview questions.
- Employees Results
- Assessment reports are very “readable”. They do not include psychological terminology.
- Target Teams provides a variety of "cheat sheets" to assist the reader in gaining an even deeper level of understanding about the reports they will receive.
May I sample an assessment to see what it can tell me about myself?
- You bet. Please contact your certified Target Teams Business Partner or info@target-teams.com to ask about a complementary assessment.
What is the typical size of customer using these instruments?
- Target Teams' Business Partners utilize these questionnaires with clients of every size and in every industry.
